Changes to delivery

Europe Shipping: Currently we are shipping from France and there should be no major changes to the way we dispatch or ship our orders, however, some delays might occur.

Rest of the World Shipping: Due to COVID-19, there are currently significant shipping delays to a number of countries due to a lack of available transport links and suspension of certain country’s postal operations.

Sanitary measures

We personally select, wrap and prepare your orders with elevated safety measures and gear and use contactless shipment collection to protect ourselves and our customers.

The following outlines the terms and conditions of using and placing an order on this website. Using this website or placing an order constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms and conditions.

The website, products, information and all terms and conditions, may be changed by HATCH WATCHES LTD at any time without notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure their understanding of these terms and conditions.

Payment

Your order will be sent for processing as soon as the acquiring bank has accepted your payment. Payments with debit and credit cards are processed using Stripe. Your card details are encrypted and are never legibly transmitted on the network. The payment is completed directly by the bank. 

You can pay for your order via PayPal. The payment is handled directly by PayPal and their terms and conditions apply. If a transaction is denied, please contact PayPal directly as we do not have access to PayPal account data.

Hatch Watches does not have access to your card details and we do not store them on our servers. This is why you have to re-enter your details for each new purchase on our website. If you encounter any issue processing a transaction, feel free to contact our customer service at service@hatchwatches.com and we will assist you.

Fraud Management

In order to provide a secure online shopping experience, Hatch Watches uses Stripe and Paypal that have integrated fraud prevention tools. Each transaction is screened for fraud indicators to ensure the identification of the cardholder and protect you from fraud. 

Hatch Watches reserves the right to verify the validity of all payments before shipping an order, like requesting supporting evidence such as I.D. documents and proof of address, etc. Any information you provide to us will be treated as confidential and destroyed after the payment has been verified.

Shipping

The watches are packaged and dispatched from Europe.

In western Europe, delivery will take 2-3 days. We aim to deliver to the rest of Europe within 3-5 working days and worldwide within 5-10 working days although it might take longer.

You will be sent a tracking reference as soon as the parcel has been sent so that you can follow its progress. Please contact us if you have a tight timeframe and we will see what we can do: info@hatchwatches.com

The above time frames are excluding tax and duties processing time. Orders will be dispatched after payment clearance and will need someone present to collect the package upon delivery. In case there is no one at the provided address, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest post office for retrieval. Orders sent internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes which are not the responsibility of HATCH WATCHES LTD and are to be paid by the receiver. 

Returns

We care about our customers and want you to be happy when purchasing Hatch Watches. All purchases are entitled to a 14 days money-back guarantee. Returns will only be accepted if the item is unused, unworn and in its original packaging in resellable condition. 

In the event of a faulty item, we will proceed to refund or exchange within the 14 days money-back guarantee period. For any faults that develop beyond this period, we ask you to refer to the warranty section. 

Refunds for returned items will be processed within 4 weeks of the return of the items. All shipping costs, duties and taxes on purchases, returns and exchanges will be the responsibility of the original purchaser and will not be refunded. Exchanges are processed on basis of availability and can’t be used for out of stock items. 

Unauthorised resellers are not entitled to any further warranty or money-back guarantees beyond the ones described here. HATCH WATCHES LTD will not be liable for third party returns without our written consent. 

If you would like to return your watch, please contact us at sales@hatchwatches.com with your order reference and we will provide you with a returns address and instructions.

Warranty

All Hatch Watches come with an eighteen (18) months warranty valid from date of purchase when bought directly from our website or one of our official stockists. This warranty covers any mechanical fault or manufacturing issue that occurs during normal usage. This means that if the materials in your watch aren’t right or if the watch isn’t put together correctly, we’ll repair or replace it, at our discretion. 

We know how much you love your watch and if you are having technical issues with it, we want to get it repaired as soon as possible, so we guarantee that we will keep sufficient spare parts to repair or replace it for eighteen (18) months. Once you have returned your watch to us we will inspect and look to diagnose the problem. If it cannot be fixed, a replacement will be issued immediately.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, water damage, battery replacements, damage or aesthetic changes to the lens, watch case, strap, bracelet, loss or theft. This guarantee shall be void if the product has been taken apart or repaired by anyone other than the nominated authorised service centre. You will void your warranty if you open your caseback, or forget to screw down or push in the crown and expose your watch to moisture. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by possession or use of the watch so this limited warranty is invalid if the defect is caused by any misuse or inappropriate use of the watch.

The warranty may be rejected on products showing evidence of extreme use, or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken lens, etc); failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification; the opening of the watch case or self inflicted damage; failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as an earthquake.

Please contact us directly at service@hatchwatches.com in regard to any warranty claims. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims and service requests. We will not accept a warranty claim or repair request if a watch has evidence of excessive wear or misuse. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

When returning the watch you must ensure the watch is packed well to ensure no damage is incurred in transit (do not return the watch in the original packaging), we recommend sending your watch by registered delivery. You must include a note the following inside the package: Date of purchase, Name, Address, Nature of fault, Model.

Personal information is the information we hold which is identifiable as being about you, such as name, address, phone number, goods and services ordered, enquiries and communication you made, payment method information.

We collect such information in a variety of ways, including but not limited to: when you interact with us electronically or in person, when you access our website and when we provide you with our services. 

We use this information to provide you with our services, we also use it to improve our service and notify you of opportunities that we think are relevant to you.
